Hello,

couple of my guitars have rust on the trem saddles and frets. What should I use to take them away and polish them? Thank you.

I'm not sure what you should use, but steel wool isn't a good idea.

A real pain in the ass to remove the fibers from your pickups, as well as any nooks and crannies.

I would use 0000 steel wool.
All you have to do is cover the pickups with masking tape. While you are using the steel wool on the frets, point the headstock towards the ground to minimize the amount of steel wool that can get into the cavities.
As for the bridge, it really depends how rusted they are.
A dremel may come in handy or steel wool. But I would remove the bridge to do that.
Then just use a lubricating oil or similar to protect it. Chrome rim polish is another option.

Try Scotchpads rather than wire wool. - I'm sure I still have a bit embedded in my finger!!!
