How do you remove the rust from your pups? Can this be done?

i have used "0000" steel wool on some pretty grungy pole pieces and it works nicely.

naptha(lighter fluid) is good for removing grunge and corrosion from hardware.

I've heard that a pencil eraser works well for that purpose, but I haven't tried it myself.
