So, there is a Sabre listed on my local craigslist for $600 that seems to be a fairly good deal (I think?). However, after reading the posts of new v. old, and seeing those new rays with H2 (thank you very much B.P.), the question now is should I even look at that Sabre.

Bovinehost - you, sir, are disqualified from this question. You seem to have more basses than God and I'm quite certain your answer will be - "get em both."

I'm disqualified?

Dang, have you been talking to my wife or something?

I've never been disqualified before and it hurts.

Bovinehost,

Only because I already knew your answer. What's more, I just jumped on your website to show my son just how many basses you have.

All I can say is - I want to be like Bovinehost when I grow up.

Okay, I can see that, but try for "better at advanced math". I really suck at anything other than business math.

I'm good at languages, though. (Like that will buy you a cup of coffee.)

apples vs oranges. there were two variations of the sable. Leos and ours. if you like the sound and fel of the old sabre then buy it Im sure that at thatt price you can pretty much get what you have paid for it if in the future you decide to go with the latest and greatest!

For those of you keeping score at home, I never have more than eight or nine basses on hand.

I'm not even in the same league as some of the other guys!
