I had to do a wedding for a couple, she has stage 4 cancer and might only have a few weeks left to live. They have 2 small kids 3 and 4 year old boys but just never got around to getting married.

We had just one week to organise their wedding, my main Dj is their brother in law so he asked me to help him out. We got so many friends to give their services for free, everything from photographer to car hire and the day went great. But I tell ya guys when she was saying her vows and it came to the part "in sickness and in health " she broke down and barley got the word "till death do us part " .. Man I cried like a baby as did everyone else

She is so positive and hopes, prays and really believes a miracle will happen. A beautiful woman of only 34 years with 2 great kids and a husband that loves them all.

Please guys stick her in your prayers
Many thanks

Dave

Well you were willing to help and make one of their wishes come true. That's what being a nice person is all about. My prayers go to the family.

I will be praying for them. What type of cancer does she have? If she needs to talk with my wife, pm me and I will pass on our number to give to her. Cancer is a horrible thing and I hate hearing more and more of these stories what seems like every day.
God bless,
Jay

i know a couple like that. everyone loves to be around them. real love is stunning. it is food for our soul to know true love still exists, and thats the only reason i can think of for this kind of tragedy, beauty always seems to come from it.

Uhhh..., that's really sad story!

I did a hundreds of weddings, there were many of "special" occasions, but never something like this!
Happy event from one point of view, but sad from another! :(

When I was reading Your story, I felt a pain in my chest!

Nothing like a thread like this to put life into perspective. Heart-wrenching and my thoughts are definitely with this family. Made me give my family an even bigger hug tonight. Thanks for posting Dave.
