i am saving up for a stingray 5 (unless a 2 pickup bass is released/re-released) and there is a couple of things i want to check first.

firstly, when i get a new bass is there any chance that my saddle will need sanding to prevent damage? my second hand hohner had a sharp saddle but that might just be because its old.

Secondly the ibanez btb has a mid frequency nob that can apparently be used to make a wah effect. Is there anything on the stingray that can do this?

Also just checking as nobady gave me an answer in my other post, is there going to be a 2 pickup mm anytime soon?

thanks

p.s. the btb1005E is the most beutiful looking bass ever, check it out

No. The saddles will not need sanding.

Our 5 string does have a mid control, but doesn't really do a "wah" sound.

Quite possibly. Stay tuned.
