I am in SLO this week on business. Passed the factory three times. All is well down by the factory as the fire is 10-15 miles northwest of the factory. On Monday when I arrived it was smoky here, and flying in at night was pretty spectacular/mindblowing seeing the fires from the air. I haven't smelled smoke all day Tues or Wed, although I have been down by the ocean (staying in Avila Beach and meetings in Pismo Beach) both days so I would assume the sea breeze keeps the smoke away (Monday night was a bit calm winds and seas and I COULD smell smoke then).
Of course, it's totally possible that some EBMM employees live closer to the fires than the factory. So I second Dr.Strangenote's well wishes for everyone's health and safety.

Love the area (and even a few of the people) and hope the fire gets contained without much damage or more consequence.
btw no one w 91 guitars passes a factory 3X in the middle of nowhere.

i also agree hope everyone is safe EBMM and all who live in the path of the fire, and all the figerfighters and all the people helping to get the fire under control and put out...

Send up a flare if the fires get close - I have a big truck and can rescue a bunch of guitars from the inferno!
