Hey Ballers... Just got my Sansamp Bass driver and EB string wonder wipes from recomendations on the forum. The wipes are great and the Bass driver sounds AWESOME. It brought life to my old Peavy head and Warwick cabinet. Hopefully I can get a new amp and cabinet in the future, but untill my wife gets over my 4HH purchase, the Sansamp is a amp savior! Thanks for all the great advice!:)

My new SansAmp Bass Driver is waiting for me at the post office. I'll pick it up tomorrow. Guess it's gonna add some good ol' warm dirt to my SR5 / MarkBass config.

I've always liked the Bass Driver, and I currently have a programmable BDDI.

However, the other night I was messing around with BP's recommendation to NOT dime the volume on the Bongo, and I got do doing some really careful listening.

The BDDI is not true bypass, and I can tell the difference between having it in line vs. plugging in direct. It definitely has some impact on tone even when switched off.

This is really minor, and I seriously doubt anyone in the band or the audience would ever notice it, especially in the context of a gig situation.

Overall, it surely is a very cool pedal.

I thought this thread was going to be about cleaning a SansAmp with WonderWipes. My SA is pretty dirty.

adouglas, you dime your Bongo? And you still have windows in your house?

Only the volume.

I do enjoy making sounds like there's a subway running through my basement from time to time.... ;)

My life won't be complete until I make the dishes fall off the counter. :D

Got the SansAmp Bass Driver today and tested it as soon. Gives me exactly what I wanted : adding a slight touch of "dirt" in my tone (similar to what you get when you tweak a touch of drive on an amp featuring a tube preamp). And it also gives my sound engineer a good DI, since the one mounted on the MarkBass is a bit too "hot" for him.
