Off Topic Sansamp with Stingrays?

Good evening to you all!

Anyone got any soundclips/recordings using a EBMM and a Sansamp? Every musicstore in stockholm is out of stock on the sansamp so I can´t try one out. I do have a Ebs Valvedrive and got a Mxr Bass blowtorch last friday so I´m wondering if the sansamp will sound that much different?

haha, we'll you can have a listen to our stuff on our Myspace page (in my sig). It was a combo of Sansamp DI and a EV RE-27 up against the grill.

The bass is pretty burried under the wall of guitar though.

The SansAmp is very different that other overdrive/distortion/fuzz boxes. It has a wide range of available sounds from slightly compressed to fully overdriven, but it does not to the extreme distortion sounds. Also, contrary to other distortion units, it has the tendency to scoop the mids and add speaker simluation thus approximating the sound of vintage tube amps.
