Hey...You know that guy whom made the Axis famous ,when his name was on it..Well when he went to that other company?..Well he flaked on them..Well i've seen that model since the removed his name ...With Pearloid tops & binding.(A purple one has been on Ebay for weeks).This just seems like a mess within 5-10 years of playing.It's not like formica.I have had snare drums & old Ludwig kits wrapped in pearloids..that I just said "Screw It" & sold..because the finish lifted..and it wasn't worth the hassle .Unless your one of those guys who rolls the dice on his retirement on the purchase of a guitar..Then your screwed..Buy a guitar...play a guitar..until it's been refretted to hell..or is nuthin but sawdust & toothpicks...
