A partial quote from Matt the Manfloozy ,"Although one suggestion I have (seriously) is if at all possible, let them be part of the decision making process... ask their opinion, etc. It may help..."

The man is a genius! I took my Fiance into a Guitar Center today, with the intention of picking up a new bass (no particular brand in mind, but Balls were certainly preferred) and decided to let her pick out this new bass; especially since she originally wasn't keen on me buying another one.

Well, she not only picked the beauty below, BUT also gave it a name..."Slater." She said the color reminded her of the color of slate(and she likes naming things). I think it's Sapphire Black....correct me if I'm wrong.

Now I have an H, HS, & HH...my collection complete. :D

Looks like Sapphire Black. Congrats by the way and it is always a good thing to let the girl pick out and name the bass....;)

Post the serial number and you will know exactly what color it is.

Thanks Powman....yeah, I put flats on the SR.

GC had a special....no payments for 12 months, and since it was new/old stock, I got a great deal.
You'd likely have to order what you want, so I can understand your dilemma.
