Looking to replace the pups. While checking out the stock wiring I noticed that the Color code between the bridge and neck pups are different. Red on bridge is hot, and blue is ground. blue on the neck is hot and red is ground. Black and white for both are coil taps. Wierd. Just dont understand why they would have the hot wire be different between neck and bridge model.

Anyway, I Just wanted to match up the wiring to dimarzio color scheme, anyone know if white and black are 1 to 1 with Dimarzio color code?

I'm not sure how they are color coded for each coil, but you can determine which color wires are paired together if you disconnect the black & white from one another and test for resistance with red. One wire should show resistance with red, and the other wire should show resistance with blue.
