Hey guys.

I've been looking for a good mid-range guitar to play metal, and to progress as a player.

What do you guys think of the new JP100 filling this spot? I can't try it out, but it looks great, and I'm a huge Petrucci fan.

Anyone got any experience or reviews with this or the JP50?

Thanks.

Yes!

I have a jp50 and I saved a bunch o cash to get this guitar. Here is the thing about them. Great neck. Seriously , it has the best feel of any guitar I've played( for me at least) Plus, when you play others in the price range and above and compare necks, you will see the difference. It fits my hands perfectly even better than the eb petrucci. Even though it sounds great, I passed on the petrucci just to get this. Jp100 because of the neck

It's versatile. I played in pro gospel group and a metal band with it. AND taken it to blues jams. Also have used it to help my nephew with some jaz When I get my new jp100 , I may put blackouts in my jp50 . The pick ups are similar to super distortions that come stock, which I like

I really gotta say that The Sterling by Music Man Team is just doing a great job, this combo deal is the best to date.
You make the brand stand out from others in its range, this... is just awesome. Starts to seem expectations will continue to be surpassed. And that without mentioning the beyond excellent customer service, Pat's been of huge help to a lot of us.

Thanks and Congrats!
We definitely will continue to support!

Pat, I'm from Croatia, and there is no 3 tone sunburst option for JP100, just trans black.. Why is that?

I played a stealth JP50 at GC last week and was very impressed by quality and playability of it. Usually guitars in that range just feel cheap. It had no trem arm installed so I can't comment on how well that might work, but I was genuinely surprised by how nice it played and sounded.
