Now that you got a chance to meet with Ed Friedland at NAMM, is there another SOB on the horizon? Did you also see Mike Meduno there by any chance?

Yes, Ed, Michael and I had a meeting Sunday morning at NAMM and we're going ahead with School of Bass II this fall in Scottsdale...this time sponsored by Bass Guitar Magazine.

I'll be doing all of the advance work before March 1st in order to have enough time for print media advertising etc..

I'll be doing some site location work first as the Hampton Inn in Tempe where we held SOBI is too small to accomodate our target of 75-100 participants this time around.

As of now we're looking at early October in the Scottsdale area and I'm lining up corporate sponsors now (Sterling?? Got your check book handy??).

I'm taking over all administrative and marketing duties so it's a lot of work but I hope to have the basic website up later this week and to have the site location work done and finalized prior to 3/1.

Last time it was $450 but this time we're pricing it a bit higher for the full program, however, we disscussed an "ala carte" type price structure as well for those unable to attend the full 3-day event.

Pricing will depend on my site location negotiations as well as what I can pull in from corporate sponsors to help offset the cost for participants.
