Hi guys,

I'm fairly new to EBMM basses, but am completely sold, and love my SR4 HH. So much so that I want another one. I'm thinking of picking up a Classic (or, depending on funds after tax time, a SBMM Ray34ca). My question is, am I going to find a single H classic, with its 2 band EQ, which I'd probably string with flats, different enough to warrent having a second Stingray? I do like the idea of having something a bit more classic, even smoother, to go with the HH.

Many thanks!

I love the Classics, and its a totally different animal but there are other basses to choose from...

Yes there are other completely different choices, such as the
Boingo [I'm a fan]. But if you find that the classic has what it
takes to warrant an additonal MM, don't forget to look around
for a SUB, which is extremely like a Classic except in price. A
nice clean SUB is $400 to $550 .... and you'll never hesitate
to bring it into 'questionable' environments !

I think the classic sounds a bit different and should from your SRHH.
If your into the core ray sound then I think you will be happy with the SBMM Ray34ca I have one and dig it...

To be honest all almost all Rays sound different. I have 4 in my current stable and they all have there own personality.
