Hey guys,

Havent been on here in a while, but recently due to the currents gigs I'm playing, I have the constant need for the low b. I love my SR 4 to death and thats why I'm moving to the SR 5, which I have now played multiple of and love them just as much.

I found a buyer for my SR 4, so I should be picking up the 5 soon, and I'm pretty excited. The store I use has a nice selection in stock so I know I'll come out happy.

Before my recent gigs, I would never have thought of selling my 4 string, and truthfully I never even wanted a 5 string because I'm mainly a 6 player, but there's just somethin about the SR 5 that pulls me in (and the sterling 5 is also a fantastic bass, I loved playing a few of those as well).

So hopefully by the end of the week I will be a proud owner of a brand new SR5 HH

Thanks

Greg

Uhhhhh....what am I missing here? Last I checked a 6 already has a B string.
Why not just use that?

Not a fan of the bongo.

*gets rotten tomatoes thrown at himself*

I tried a bongo 6 and it didnt do it for me, but the sr 5 did, and thats why I'm going with that.

My sr4 is for sale in the for sale topic if anyone wants to check it out ;)

Don't feel bad. I'd sell my Bongo 5 for a SR5, or a Sterling 5 of course.
