Hey everyone,

Just recently got a splitter box to use with my JP6, so I can plug in a stereo cable to the guitar and have one cable go to the tube guitar amp and the other to an acoustic amp. When switching guitars, however, I hit my tuner to mute the magnetic signal and have to press the Mute button on my acoustic amp so that there's no popping noise. For ease of switching guitars, I'd like to be able to run the stereo signal through my Korg Pitchblack tuner and then into the splitter box, so not only can I tune with either the magnetic or piezo setting but so that the issue of noise when unplugging goes away. I don't have another TRS cable to test this though. So I guess to narrow down the question, will the stereo signal pass through the tuner/pedals in general or only mono?

Thanks!

will the stereo signal pass through the tuner/pedals
No. If you put a TRS (stereo) plug into a TS (mono) jack, you'll ground one of the signals, so only one will pass through.

There are a few ways to do what you want, though. For example, you could easily build a little mute box to take a TRS cable from your guitar and mute both signals, and then split them to either signal chain, etc.
