Serial number - what year?

Hi! My Silhouette has the serial number 88182. Does it mean 1988? I also would like to know, what the official name of the finish was. It is a kind of light red/orange burst, just wonderful. Thanks for any information, Henry from Germany

Hello Henry. No, it doesn't mean '88 as neckplates are put on randomly. Someone from Customer Services will probably tell you the date when America wakes up in a few more hours.

If you want someone to tell you the name of the colour it would help if you put a photo on here, they like photos of EBMM guitars.
