I just bought a Stingray from Guitar Center.
I search for the serial number in the data base but it failed.
Please your help with information for this number:

I just replied to your PM to me.

As I advised, check your serial again and if correct, email Customer Service for assistance. It may take a few days. In the meantime, your serial indicates c. early 1998..

Customer Service response that my bass appears to be a StingRay EX model.
These basses were assembled in Japan using authentic Music Man parts.
Any comments about main difference with the american ones ??
