Series/Parallel Switching on stock Stingray

I'm just curious as to how you can do this with the stock pickup...i thought there are only 2 wires coming from a stock stingray pickup...is it possible to wire my Stingray in Series as well as parallel with toggle switch and the stock pickup?

i've seen a few Stingrays like this and i'm just curious as to how it is done...

i've seen it done with a mini toggle switch but i dont have a wiring diagram for it. But it can be done.

all i need is a schematic and i can do it if i wanted, it is all in curiousity
