Hi

I'm looking to set up my newly purchased JPXI and I'm hoping I get some advice on how to do it. I appreciate there is a section on this in FAQ's however as I have no experience of doing this, therefore I don't understand a considerable amount of the terminology there! So any help would be greatly appreciated :)

From what I can gather, I have to adjust the height of the saddles and that will bring the strings closer to the fretboard and that's it?

Also I'm not sure if the bridge needs to be adjusted as to me, it looks a tad too far close to the body and needs to be raised. Am I even slightly close here? Pic is attached.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give :)

You might want to try to adjust the truss rod first. Clockwise, so it gets more tension. No more than quarter turns a time, and leave some time for it to set!

You also need to adjust the trem claw screws to ensure the bridge is completely level with the body of the guitar.
