Hello all,

I've just received a new ASS HH with trem and rosewood board. I'm in the process of setting it up for 10's. I've looked on the FAQ's and can't seem to find what EBMM recommends for a height on the Dimarzios.

I'm surprized at how hot the bridge pup is. I'm going to lower it a little. For all of you Sport owners out there, how high do you set your pups? Just curious to see what everyone else is doing.

One other thing, the guitar came with the trem flat against the body. Naturally when I put the 10's on, it now floats. I'm going to tighten it back down flat again. Does anyone here keep their Sport trem floating?

Congrats! One sweet guitar.

Pickup height isn't actually adjustable on these, so there's no easy way to lower them (unless you've got a used one that had them shimmed).

I have a Bill Lawrence Q-Filter (variable inductor) wired up to mine to I can reduce the output heat easily, though.

Currently my trem rests on the body, but I did have it floating for a while- no problems whatsoever there. I also have my Luke and Albert (both with vintage trem) floating. Go nuts.
