hey guys I'm wondering if you can help me out with some info. I've been playing my Stingray 5 for over 6 years and touring professionally. I'm in need of some minor fretwork as you can imagine and have thought about dressing them myself. I'm currently living in Mississippi and there aren't many people around here that work on basses. Has anyone done much of this kind of thing? Any advice or suggestions? Also, I've checked on Stewart MacDonald's site for some radius gauges and found some but when I looked on the Music Man site it says the Stingray 5 has an 11" radius but I can't find an 11" radius gauge. Any thoughts on where i may find some. Thanks so much for any info. Cheers. Joe

I would call Ernie Ball Customer Service and see if they have qualified luthiers in your area and if not, if they can schedule you a time to mail your bass in to get the ork done at there shop. JOSH

yeah I may take your advice and do that. I don't trust just anyone to work on my basses. I'm sure you guys are the same. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read and reply. Have a good day. Joe
