Since I've been reading such rave reviews about this particular overdrive/distortion pedal... I went and picked one up from GC today out of pure curiosity...
It's called the Seymour Duncan SFX-03 Twin Tube...

By chance, has anybody tried one of these out yet with their Music Man set-up...?

Here's a Guitar Player Mag review...

No one seems much interested in this so far... but just want to let the curious players know, that the Twin Tube Classic pedal is one of the smoothest, most instantly applicable combination overdrive & distortion units I've ever experienced... I have Tonebone's-Classic & British... Fulltone's OCD, Fulltone 2 & Distortion Pro... Chandler Tube Driver, Rat, Boss pedals... Maxon 808, Ibanez Tube Screamer, Barber Unit, etc, etc. etc.

Of all of them, the Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Classic simply does the tube feel overdrive & distortion sound thing better then all of them.. With True Bypass, it's the elusive Holy Grail ...

It also easily smokes the pre-amps on most amps I've owned (including the Mesa Lone Star...)

It's an amazing duel solo tool contained all in one cool looking gold pedal. So if you're on lookout for one... these units are "all that"...
No wonder it received the Guitar Player's Editor's Pick Award.

Not seen one in the UK yet but sounds interesting.

Unfortunately you cant control the switching externally - otherwise it would have been perfect with my G-System.

Not yet tried the Twin Tube, but your review does not surprise me. All the SD pedals (just two of them before the TT  ), are absolutley excellent pedals. The Pickup Boooster and the Tweakfuzz are also great pedals, if you are looking for those applications. Both are built like tanks, too. SO, I am not surprised that GP and you liked the TT so much.

Great, another thing I've got to try and save for.....

Oh, and be careful or we're going to take away your bold letters privelege. :p
