finally paid her off today........brought her home,and she seems fine with the Sterling......gonna play this SUB all weekend........we're having a big live recording tomorrow......all set up and sound checked..........should be a good sound,will post some more pics in time.

he's on holidays with mom,and i have 5 buddies here for what we like to call "FARM JAM" and we're recording the whole thing......so i don't think the boy is gonna mind if we use it.........he'll just keep playing my Sterling anyways....he loves it.

but yeah....we ran through a few of our tunes last night,and man the SUB just cuts right through......great instrument.

Congrats on the SUB. I have a SUB 5 that has been seeing alot of action as of late. It too cuts through the mix very well. It makes it hard to justify Sterling 5 or Stingray 5.

i got to play my new SUB for the first time at band practice last night and it was awesome! sounded good, felt great and the other two guys complimented me on how nicely it cut through. my guitar player LOVES the pickguard.

update.........the 3rd annual farm jam is in the bag...........all the boys set out to play this SUB......man what a great sound outta her.


i can't wait to go and mix the jam down too........this bass wails.......and i hate to say it but.....the Sterling got no love over the last 3 days......SUB the whole time.

as for the pickguard.........i wanna throw a white ice on it.........my sterling is black and has black ice so.........i figured white ice would compliment the SUB.........

and oh man..........i just did a quick listen to the recordings..........this bass is the ticket.......went direct with it,and man does she wail..........poor Sterling,got no love at this year's Farm Jam......oh well.......my son has now gotten home and found his little surprise.........hasn't been quiet her for a few hours now.
