There's a typo = replace the N with a T!!!! - and if you live outside the UK -then it's remote teh Ne and replace with T.

Mind you, to be fair if I was 13 again and desperately trying to get my hands on my first guitar for as little money as possible, this one would have looked pretty good to me!

I'm sure it's shortcomings would be more apparent 'in the flesh' as it were, but if I could only run to £150 then this would probably be a contender.

Agree with Bungo.....I remember when the EVH was first out I managed to pick up a relatively poor copy for somehting like £199. It was plywood with a photo top but did me fine as that was my budget. But nowadays if you want a budget version you should buy OLP...

But that Shine looks like two arse cheeks....

I will stick up quietly for Shine and admit that my first bass was a Shine bass - really good value for the money - it's not a patch on my Sterling and I can't bring myself to play it now, but for a beginner, great value.

I agree with imitation being the sincerest form of flattery - they have said EVH "style", so they're not breaking any rules...

Obviously EBMM are the best if you can afford it, but like Bungo said, you could do a LOT worse on a budget of £150... these actually play for a start and aren't made of plywood!

yah but no matter how you slice n dice it the 4+2 tuner design is patented AND is a no no on anything but EBMM
