well shoot. I thought it was going to be a "Win a Date with Jodizzle" promo.

You know what the Stones sang.

;)

Winning a date with Jodizzle would be awesome. But of course, she would have to wear the costume/hair like she did at NAMM ;)

The Stones also sang... I cant get no.... SATISFACTION!

I had a date with Jodizzle once....kind of.

We drove around in a big scary machine and then frightened old people at the grocery store.

What more can a man ask for?

Jackie, I told you not to tell anyone!!!

I'm just glad you didn't have to get out and start pushing the vehicle.

The first time the vehicle disagreed with your instructions, I said, "Hmm, I might just end up behind this thing, pushing it."

After watching you literally beat it into submission, I feared not.

I'd never doubt Jodi on anything. I heard she used to make Chuck Norris do her math homework.

Tell him I still think his call was off. (He was one of my judges at a martial arts competition in Atlanta a few years back.)

Back in the day, I worked for this crusty old Navy captain who loved to stay late in the office at the Embassy. What was he doing? Not working, really. He had a little flask in his desk and he'd close his door and nip at the flask - and smoke cigarettes in his office.

One day, one of the Marines, about 20 years old or so, probably a lance corporal, says to me, "Tell Captain Bennett that we know he's smoking in his office!"

I thought about it for a minute and said, "Son, why don't YOU go tell him?"

And that was the last of that.

A crusty old captain.....Jodizzle.....Chuck Norris.

Maybe I'll just avoid hacking any of them off.

With all the talk of not offshore outsourcing SUBs when the decision to axe them was made, I feel kind of odd these new cables are all made in China.

They are just cables.... I don't mind at all that they are made in China.
I have several things made from China and other countries that work well and have no problems with.

I'm proud that my Ernie Ball basses and strings are made in the USA, thats great, but I dont mind at all that an instrument cable happens to be made in China.

Gosh I was a captain 25 years ago....! Wrong service!
Kidding.
We're all afraid of Jodizzle.
Rest of us only get hacked off when when we read silly posts like "F****r S***s!" or something thoughtless like that. Fender makes a fine product. I happen to prefer my two EBMMs because I believe the QC is better than competing models from other companies, the active electronics are more flexible, and the customer service is more responsive.

that, and the overall playability is preferable for me.
I like the sound better too.
Fender does make some nice stuff. I'm sure I'll end up owning a few good ones in my life, along with a few Warwicks, etc.

But EBMM...that's a whole different bird. No other company is like these guys. I tend to think that the Stingray was Leo's greatest invention when it comes to bass.
