I've shipped guitars internationally. Simple - just put it in a big box with some sort of padding around the guitar case and it'll be fine!

Since its going international you'll need to fill out some kind of customs form at the post office. From the UK that amounts to just a description of contents and value of item. Takes 30 seconds tops!!!

Then pay your money & leave it with the posties!!! :D

Cheers, what some of the better known shipping companies there?

Theres the usual such as fedex, ups etc

Mostly I use Royal Mail or Parcel Force which are UK national things, as USPS is to America. If you send by OZ mail or whatever its called there it'll be delivered by Royal Mail in Scotland... this is a slower service than say Fedex but cheaper too!!!!

Thanks everyone for your help. After the deal is done I'll introduce this chap, he has 14 EBMM EVH including one he bought of Eddies guitar tech (Matt Bruck) and a gold top that's never been played!
