Hey guys,
Made a really short recording of the intro of Steel Panther's Eatin' aint Cheatin. Nothing like a little hair metal.
I was a bit hesitant in posting here, because I'm not that good a player, but I figured what the heck.
It's all done with my Supersport (the main riffing) and my Luke (the harmony part). Drums were played 'live' with a PS3 band hero controller using Addictive drums (beware: I'm even worse at drumming). Everything in Reaper.
No post processing, everything you hear is AxeFX and addictive drums. As I don't have a bass guitar, I used an octave down patch with a bass amp model on the AxeFX...
I'm fairly happy with the result, but I'm sure most of you guys could do a much better job. If you guys have some over the top hairmetal bits, perhaps you can post them here, kinda like the 'video response' you have on youtube..?
Anyway, Hope you guys enjoy every one of the 34 seconds
