Short Scale MusicMan?

I was wondering why EBMM doesn't offer a short scale bass. Is it because there isn't a lot of demand? A shortie Sterling or StingRay would be pretty cool, I think.

True, the Silo is a short scale bass. But it has way too many strings for me. Plus, it's no StingRay.
