Ony my latest JP6 I just noticed that the High E string (the smallest string) is almost resting on the the first fret and it's causing a buzz. Compared to my BFR the nut slot is deeper but only slightly. I didnt know if there was any way to correct this myself without replacing the nut or should I let CS handle this. The guitar isn't but like 6 months old.

unless your dealer can help you i suggest you contact customer service :)

we can give you advice, but id trust advice directly from the source of the guitar over our opinions. they are after all internet opinions ;)

Contact CS if you really want to be sure of anything, but I'd recommend a tiny, TINY bit of glue/superglue or even the tiniest bit of tape... something to put in there to raise the string the smallest of measurements. That will solve the problem.
