I have to say I really like my luke and wolf. I like the wolf so much I thought about getting rid of the Luke to buy an Axis with piezo. I dont think that would be good as I really like the pickups on the luke.

Either way that has nothing to do with my question. Has any body put a locking nut on a LUKE? I have gotten to the point that I dont like non locking nuts. Everytime I do lots of bends or use the wammy bar my guitar goes sharp. Should I just get some graphite or do you think it would be cool to put a locking nut on a Luke II?

My Silo Spec with nut sauce stays in tune better than my strat with graphite nut and Big bend's nut sauce. My Luthier says that EBMM's nuts are made of very hard material and don't need to be changed.

Of course, a vintage trem requires moderation to stay in tune. Usually, it's my G string going sharp when i trem too much. When it happens, i press down on the G string from behind the nut and everything is back to normal.

Good day

Just ordered some sauce for my nuts. :D
HAHAHA like Pete said with the locking tuners you need a little sauce to help the string GLIDE the the nut Slots ,whats happening is your using your trem and the strings are sticking in the slots so the nut sauce will help them to glide more smoothly and thus the problem should go away!:)

My personal preference on vintage trems is simple! 5 springs baby! That sucka doesn't budge...unless you want it to. Ima tell you though it's no child's toy, you gotta have some UMPH to dive with those 5 springs. I think it helps a lot though.
