The funny thing is that back in 2007 when I first started buying EBMM's, I was convinced that I only liked the HH models. I actually sold 2 very nice single H models, and now wish I had at least one of them back. I really enjoy the point and shoot simplicity of the single H. I actually sold the Hss because it had TOO many sound options. Plus it never really nailed the SOUND I got with either the H or HH models.

Exactly, I don't want to step on any toes so I will just +1 you there... but I did do an extensive A\B test with my favorite bass the Sterling H vs my Sterling HH and found the HH to be able to do my H very closely... some differences? Sure but not enough to make a big difference in a mix so the H was sold for a Bongo HHp. A Bongo is a much bigger difference than the HH vs the H.

If I were in an original band again I'd stick with the H but doing gospel & covers I need a little more variety thus the HH.

Change up the sig bro!
