I've seen a few pics and they look the same(on Gav's site).... or maybe I'm just always looking at the same pics? anyways, will someone post pics of both colors on basses, preferably 4 string models, and if I CAN get a little more specific.... sterlings? If you cant show the difference, perhaps describe it?

Cherry Burst

Go to this site here. Go about halfway down the page. You will see a Honeyburst and a Cherryburst SR4 right together. The easiest way to think about it is that the cherry is actually bursting to red whereas the honey is bursting to brown. A lot of the same colors in between though.

Thanks! I was under the impression I had a cherry burst but it's a black cherry burst!

This is making me itch for my graduation present in may. Fretless Honeyburst SR5 with the white pearloid pickguard and matching headstock.

They aren't doing the white pups anymore?

I think that's determined when they're manufactured.

I've seen a few recent pup's with white covers.

I may be wrong though.

i thought the pup cover color used to be based on the pickguard cover color but i dunno if theyre still doing that or if theyre all black now

Here's my honeyburst Sterling. I have a black guard on it now, which looks better than the white, but the honeyburst is beautiful.
