I recently bought my second Ernie Ball Music Man Axis, this time a ferrari red Sport with p90's.
Yesterday I took my new sport axe to rehearsal and I must say that for classic rock this must be the most versatile guitar I've ever played! It roars and bites when overdriven, but also sings and chimes when played clean!
I never knew P90's were that nice! It is the perfect complementary guitar to my humbucker equipped Axis (and the Baja tele of course
)
Oh yeah: the combination of my Axis', both hummies and P90, and my Mesa F50 is almost to good to be true! I'm back to playing without pedals again, though I may put together a small board for wah, tremolo and delay.
I had a little fotoshoot this morning and reckoned I'd show the results here.
