Hey Ya'll
Check out the web site www.hotdotz.com.
Some of the guy's over on the Alembic forem are using them, and getting good results. I'm thinking of installing them on my Alembic and one of my StingRays.
Price is right for side leds that work and you don't have to mangle your neck.

practice in a dark room or close your eyes.At first you will not be very accurate but with work your muscle memory will kick in and you will "know" exactly where you are without looking....It happens.

all well and true and I must say that I can sight read without having to look down at the neck too often but, you add a couple thousand people to the equation and tunes that you're not entirely sure of due to the "subbin" nature of things and sometimes when the lights go down a person can get a little blonde... er ... I mean... ;)

i play in the dark a lot at home and have gotten used to it ... but still, its true, we all need a hint at times.

id rather have something like glow in the dark nail polish on there instead. that could do the job assuming they "charge" easily.

maybe im just too punk-rock but id rather hit a wrong note that look like a bass playing xmas tree :)

With the green ones, the drunk audience will swear the saw martianmen on stage...

I wouldn't get some, but its a good alternative for someone who wants leds on his neck and can't pay for a custom one.

its a good idea. but i think sims' job looks better. they want you to put a battery box on your headstock. and they dont even put the leds in a good position, or i dont think theyre in a very good position. but to each his own.

i think it means that they cant be reused

i think its less the fact that there usefull and more the fact that they look hella awsome
i would definatly not put them on to help my playing

and you can have a high-low -off toggle switch
