silent circuit defect?

Hi!
I have got some problems with my silent circuit unit in my EBMM Silhouette. It doesn´t work proberly, even if I try it with a brand new battery. I opened the cover, i all look quite ok, but the unit smells a little charred. So I fear, that the the unit burnet through. Is there any way to order the unit as a replacement part? Do someone know what that will cost roundabout? thanks!

Could be something as simple as the terminals in the battery box not properly making contact with a battery, or could be toast. Either way, these guys will help you out.
