Just bought a used Axis with P-90s and the "silent circuit".
The problem is that the circuit actually increases noise.
It´s some kind of noise that sounds like a bad pot. But it´s there all the time.
If I remove the battery the noise is gone. (Except for the regular single coils noise)
Any clues what might be the problem ?
I have changed the battery, but that didn´t help.
You can listen to the noise here:

The popping sound is me changing Pick up

Thanks in advance

Anders-

The Silent Circuit is a buffered dummy coil that subtracts noise from your pickups. If it's adding noise, odds are the previous owner had either removed the pickups/SC and put them back in incorrectly (likely), or the SC is malfunctioning (unlikely).

As the good doctor suggest, contact the CS folks. Odds are you need a wiring diagram and someone to wire it up correctly.
