I have managed to source a spare silent circuit (Thanks Wolf5150!) to go in my Luke which I fitted passive pickups to.

I went for a Humbucker and single in the middle (Bare knuckles) and a duncan lil 59 in neck. I have the switch wired so I have all noiseless combinations. The only issue is that I have decided that I prefer the sound of a proper single coil. So this is where the silent circuit comes in.

I firstly need to decide on the pickup combinations I want (I have two options):

1. Bridge bucker, tapped bucker + middle SC, Middle SC, Neck SC + Middle SC, and Neck SC alone.

2. Bridge bucker, Tapped bucker + middle SC, Tapped bucker and Neck SC, Mid SC and Neck SC, Neck SC. (Could go for Full humbucker and neck bucker in mid position)

What would you guys recommend I go for? Obviously I need all humcancelling (I blame my ASS for making me unable to live with noisy pickups! lol) combinations, but I have to consider how I wire in the Silent Circuit.

So.....
Which combinations of pickup selections would be easiest to wire in?

and

How do I go about getting this silent circuit wired in?

Thanks for your help in advance!

So it comes down to whether position 3 is middle only or split brige + neck. Really depends what you like.

Me, personally, I like split bridge & neck- more of a tele kind of vibe. I never use the middle single on it's own. (I wired up my AL like that.) Still another option is to use a position for split bridge on it's own.

As for wiring up the SC- it's pretty straightforward. For wiring, you can refer to the wiring diagram from the Silhouette Special SSH (a bit different if you want the middle on it's on in position 3). If you need a hand, feel free to PM me.
