Silent switching system....

Is it possible to install this aftermarket on other guitars? For example, I've split the pot in my Axis, but don't care for the hum in the 1st and 3rd positions with distortion. Can I install the silent switching? Is it even available for sale? What about installing in a non-EBMM guitar? Would it affect the tone? Any help, greatly appreciated.

Dude, I don't think you can buy it from EBMM. I think that if you pick one up off of EvilBay you migth be able to make it work.
