Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to open a thread about the Silhouette Bass Guitar by Music Man. Does anyone here have one? What is the tuning on yours? How do you like it?

Beth, your thread has officially been hijacked.

If I were into floor coverings would my sig need to be "Carpe Carpet"?

or

if I were a devout Christian would my sig need to be "Carpe Carpenter"?

Sorry Beth, I do not own a Silhouette bass guitar.

The only time I've even seen one was at the open house concert with BP laying down some serious funk! I loved the clavinet like character in the upper register and the damn snappy bass end.

If it came in a lefty, I’d buy one in a New York minute! (Not the “Bahaman” minute, which could actually last up to an hour…)

I was wondering how well it sold myself. Ive never seen anyone play one. Or for that matter Ive never seen any one play a fender Bass VI. I always wondered and please I dont mean any offence when I say this, but what is the point of these instruments?? There guitars an octave lower right? And if so, why not just buy a bass??

I demand to own one of these silhouette bass guitar products.

It should be transparent green sparkle, with no pickguard, binding on the neck and body, spalted maple top and ebony fretboard with no inlays and i want a left handed headstock with a right handed logo.

that's my challenge to dargin.

create that and I'll buy you such a beer.

my bass teacher has a 6 string piccolo bass that he tunes BEADGC like a 6 string bass but an octave higher its a 30" scale which is similar to the silhouette bass, but its modelled after a carl thompson bass. he does some really cool stuff with it though.

Dooh...I see em now...these text files are very difficult to read but I guess Excel spreadsheets are out of the question with BP huh?

Thanks Beffie!!

I'll stick with just two for now but if they sell well for me I'll order more before cutoff...I still have a crapload of 30th Ray's to move or else I'm scrubbing BP's toilets with a tootbrush.

Dude, we can convert the files to Excel, but it takes too long and Dan probably didn't think you were worth it.
