I have owned this guitar for years and have never taken it out of the case, and now want to play it, but am not sure how to tune it? Is is a standard guitar tuning or something else, I have searched the forums but cannot find an answer, also BP I know this was for the charity and I bought it on ebay, but can you tell me any info about the signing of it? Also are the signatures under the clear coat?

thank you in advance for your help and for such incredible instruments (I have owned over 20 EBMM guitars) and for being so involved with your customers on this forum, truly above and beyond!!

in Hell... with cows...
depending on which strings were on it when it left the factory, you can tune it to E to E (one octave lower than most guitars) or A to A. E feels way loose, then yours was setup for A ;)

Oh yeah... just noticed the link at the bottom. You don’t see many of those here. I’m curious to know who signed it.

Eagles Sigs

I bought this from ernie ball when they were doing the casey lee ball foundation auctions several years ago and this was among several that were signed by Jeff Beck, Keith Richards and many others and I just started collecting EVH models at the time but thought this was a cool piece, so I sure hope the signatures are authentic!!! I have the original shipping invoice from ernie ball but have not taken it out until now, thanks for the tuning info! Hopefully Sterling can clarify when this was

Thanks guys for the reply's I have been "lurking" here for years and Just never got into posting, but I will tell you that this forum is the most active bunch of guitar and bass crazy people on the net!! I love EBMM guitars and have quite a few but until last year owned my own business and had been to busy to play much, but now I am taking the time to play, life is to short not to play with your balls, huh?:)

I hope the last line was not too offensive to anyone:), especially for a newbie

You just said you've been lurking here for years. Surely you've seen how we behave. ;) The only thing you could have done differently is capitalized 'Balls'. :)

Just searching the web and came across this post. I believe that I'm the proud owner of this guitar now. Found it for sale in a Guitar Center in Avondale (I think) back in December, 2010 and have had it since.
