Silhouette DOB PLease?

Just got my Silhouette from the UPS guy, seems to be very old. Laquered, six bolt neck, serial stamped on the back of the headstock: 88246.

I checked, and it comes back to an Axis. This has happened before. When we started putting S/N's on the neck plates, some S/n's were duplicated. Your best bet is to take off the neck, and look for dates there. It won't tell you exactly when it was built, but the date will be close to the actual build date.

Thanks! I have to dig into it tonite for a full set up anyhow, so that will just be part of the fun.
