The pups for the Silo are as follows:

DiMarzio
1 single coil - custom wound
2 humbucking - PAF PRO

I totally love the way they sound!!!!!!

I have two seymour duncan pups (SH-10 fullshred and a SH-2 Jazz) in an Ibanez S body at the minute so i was wondering was it worth swapping them.

...seen as though they are PAF PRO's i don't think i will bother.

My info is right from the MM site.
I'm pretty sure the info is current even though the site is a little dated.

The last printed catalogue has virtual pafs listed.

Look at the polepieces, if there is a slot head screw and a slug then its a virtual.
If both sets of polepieces have octagon holes then its a PAF Pro.;)

Kim Mitchell's choice (obligatory Canadian content) are the PAF Pros.

The Silos now come with the Virtual PAF. I loved the regular PAF's. They were a tad bit hotter and had a nice pronounced midrange curve to them. The Virtual PAF's were close, but a little more polite. I a/b'd them, recording them using my main programs (dirty & clean) and using identical maple board Silos. The difference was subtle, but it was there. And if you're an anal Virgo like me, every little change makes a massive difference!
