Hello there,

I had a chance to see a friend's silo a couple days ago.
The thing is, that it made of Ash, and it's from 1993 from what I recall according to what my friend told me that time, the maple neck on the back looks like a bird's eye maple.

Did the silos ever have bird's eye maple necks? I haven't seen one till this time.

Its hit and miss with the birds eye, but you dont often get highly figured Silo's.

sure, almost all the early silos had birdseye, and some people here are lucky to have later silos with birdseye. there werent many different models around in the late 80's early 90's either, so the silos got all the nice wood! I'd love an early Silo.

My silo has tons of BE on the neck, way more than my EVH and yes she is from 1994
