I know that EB will sell you a neck "like for like" - you would have to return your old neck. So you wouldn't be able to change rosewood for maple.

Essentially....no!
My understanding of their policy is that EBMM will give your guitar a new neck if the old one is damaged, but it will be the same type as the existing one
EBMMs copyright on their headstock shape will also prevent you ordering one from Warmoth.
As the owner of a SS with rosewood neck I say keep it......the unfinished EBMM maple neck tends to show the dirt a lot more in my experience......but others swear by them.
If you really must have a maple neck SS, might I suggest EBay?

Well the dirt bothers me little. I love my Super Sport an AL maple necks, and I've just realized that I like the sparkly and more edgy sound of maple on my Music Man guitars.

Ya, as mentioned there's no way to purchase a different neck for it.

Your only option is to buy a maple f/b SS, swap the necks & sell it again with the rosewood f/b

occasionally, people will sell their EBMM necks on eBay. It's also possible that you could arrange an exchange with someone else that has a Silo Special neck. Never hurts to ask.
