What is the pickup routing on the Silo Spec? Is it a universal route like the Silhouette or is it HSS... There seems to be conflicting information when I google it.

That rules out a HH silo spec.. But happy it's not a universal route. I'm trying to see if a silo spec PDN may fit my needs and I want to see how versatile I can make 1 guitar.

You've peaked my interest! What pickup/wiring configuration were you thinking? ...Or what would the perfect world scenario be?

Not big on 24 Frets I assume? yeah.. I personally prefer 22.

Everyone raves about the Suhr Aldrich pickups and I was thinking I want to try a set. I love how each of my current guitars sound and really don't want to mess with then as the Axis pickups are just perfect. Always wanted a Silo Spec and thought that it would be an easy guitar to build 2 or 3 pick guards to "audition" pickups and just have any sound you GAS for in a much easier, less expensive way. I do love the way the HSS Silo Spec sounds stock, btw.

Maybe the HHAL will get to try them....

Just put the Suhr DSH+ in the bridge and DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck of my Silo spec. It screams!!!!

That is an option as well... Especially since it's HSS routed. I need to get the silo spec first then I can play around with it...
