Stevo nice classic looking Silo.

Did somebody say phase out the AL? - yeah right!!!!

I sure hope they don't!!!!!

BUT we have been promised AL news for such a long time...AND the colour offering is very limited and hasn't changed much for a while. (Boring Black and Furniture Brown just don't make me randy.)

By far the best guitar I've ever owned. Silo special with I'll rosewood neck, plays like a dream and sounds gorgeous too.
To me the silo is Musicmans equivalent to fenders strat, that one model that really kickstarted everything off (as well as the stingray bass obviously).
Really can't blame them for keeping it in the lineup for sentimental reason, it's nice that they haven't messed around with it and left it as an amazingly simple and elegant design.

I hope the Silo stays in the EBMM line up for a long time. The very first guitar that I bought my youngest son back in December of 2012 was a Sterling by Music Man Sub Silo 3. For an entry level guitar, it plays and feels like a much more expensive guitar. My kid still has the guitar and it has never given him a single issue. It has also motivated me to want to add an Ernie Ball Music Man Silo to my collection some day.
