Silhouette with Floyd Rose

Hello everyone!
I'm new here and searching in various threads I learnt tha the Silo with Licensed Floyd Rose was available until 1995.
I bought mine new in 2004 in one of the "greatest" store here in Italy.And I specifically asked for it.It's arrived in store after 1 month approximately
Maybe it was an older model unsold?
Another question:is there a site where I can order a new pickguard?

Nice guitar!!! Some dealers have NOS or new old stock. It very well could have been in the store since then and unsold until you bought it. The best way to find out is to post the guitar's info in the "My Guitar's Serial Number Is . . . " thread (which I see you've already done).

For a new pickguard, you can order them through your EBMM dealer or distributor. You can also contact INTL customer service at one of the addresses/numbers listed here: http://www.ernieball.com/contact/

Also check eBay. This seller does Silhouette pickguards. eBay Store - Dazbootman Pickguards:

Make sure that you get the Silhouette pickguard and not the Silhouette Special. They are not interchangeable.

I'd go with EBMM 'guards. You get what you pay for.

I wonder if there's a way of getting a list of 'NOS' instruments from retailers / dealers etc... Seems a shame to have them boxed up or in storage when they could be in my sweaty palms...
