Hello there!

I recently acquired the best guitar ever made (for me):

Silhouette Body and Stainless Steel Frets (2016/17 LE Starry Night) ,
I love it very much and keep thinking:

Are there other Silhouette Variants/Editions that got steel frets?

That's a heckuva score, love it! For years I've wanted a Silo Special so bad I can't stand it. Lately, I was holding out for roasted maple and SS. I think there may have been a few small dealer runs and a BFR but nothing large scale.

Looks like they finally switched over with the latest production model but the snowy white finish isn't my cup of tea. Sadly, Silos have been around for so long they don't get the attention of the newer stuff. I'm hoping they at least get a little love with a couple new finish options next year.

My dream would be the metallic orange.
Maybe a metallic pea soup color called Exorcism Green, you guys can use that. Or make my daughter happy with a deep red sparkle that has pearloid pickguard, black pickups, and a matching headstock. How about a metallic shoreline gold type called Toasted Marshmallow to go along with the roasted neck theme? You can have that one, too :)

Hi Pyriander !
Yes, there are. As far as I know the PDN run 2014 in Neptune Blue and the Silhouette BFR in 2020 have stainless steel frets.
BTW you 've got a very nice Silo.🙂

Thanks for your answers;

Oh wow, the Neptune one is nice!

Mine is hard to photograph, the sparkle is immense and it looks much better in person than on photo.

I couldn't agree more. Imho most of the finishes are hard to do justice in a picture.
