yesterday, I worked on a latin sound, and the silo 20 th was incredible to get the best smooth and warm guitar sound ...

from what I've already done with the 20th it's also just fabulous in funk, blues and jazz.

I think this guitar is phenomenal...I can't wait to play it in demos for MM or VHT...

Very cool! :D I hope that song will be available on your next album.

What microphone do you use to record your VHT? Do you use a microphone preamp?

I use two sm 57, then a dual channel tube preamp and a dual channel tube eq, and at least, the signal goes in the preamps of my fireface...

...just made a sweet girl-colleague of mine shake her boo-tee in my office when I played it. Keep doing these things - they make me get nice visits around ;)

P.S.: For that trans-amber ASS MM90 I told you about - sorry, since you did not want it in the first place I just HAD to score it... :D

Superb. Superb. Superb.

Truly - a Love Supreme!

I've been noticing that most of your clips have been featuring the 20th lately. Just wanted to say, as an owner of one myself, I completely understand why! :)

tristan, that is awesome.
fine playing, complete different to the things you do normally. you are very versatile!

how do you do the backingtracks? are you playing all instruments yourself or are you doing something virtual (drum machine ...)?

I played my silo spec today, had to record with it, I love it and it's a FABULOUS strat sound...

but the 20 th is definitely the most inspiring instrument I've played in all my life...two notes with it and it's another world !

I vote to make it available as a regular model...

oh no..it has to stay the best secret on the earth ;)

Thanks, tristan. When I get my next computer, I want to get some recording equipment. That's a cool idea using two SM57. I will definitely think about getting some preamps and EQ like that.

I'm both happy and thankful to have both the Silo Spec and the 20th Anniversary Silhouette. :D
